WINDOWS

Our bespoke wooden windows have greatly enhanced many homes across East Sussex. Our passion is crafting timber products for any style or age of property from heritage to new build.

Bespoke timber windows with quality woods

We use super prime and prime grade European oak as well as other timbers including Red Grandis and Accoya. All our timbers are FSC certified.

Red Grandis is a PAS 24:2016 certified hardwood which originates from a 27,000 hectare plantation in Uruguay. It’s a very strong, flexible and blemish-free timber which has an exceptionally smooth finish for painting or staining. Accoya, a technologically advanced, sustainable and long lasting timber, is also ideal for windows as it is durable and dimensionally stable.

Our craftsmen pride themselves in giving you a quality finish and a window that will look great for many years to come.

Made to measure windows

Our windows are made to last and designed to integrate perfectly with the rest of your property.

All types of wooden windows can be made, including large screens for barn conversions or offices. They can be double glazed windows or single glazed windows.

When we construct double glazed wooden windows they can be of varying thicknesses. The slimmer double glazed windows enable us to have a fine glazing bar, to look like the old single glazed bars, but still have the warmth and energy saving benefits of double glazing.

When you discuss your project with us we’ll generally be able to price it based upon our drawings, although a site visit is normally required before we start work. We can also produce a computer drawing to show your new wooden windows in elevation.

We also specialise in making arched windows to fit virtually any aperture.

Replacement wooden windows

When crafting wooden replacement windows we want them to perfectly match the property. We understand how important windows are to the overall look of your home or office, and will work with you closely to ensure we find the perfect style.

We can replace just one window to blend in with the others. Or we can carry out a full property refurbishment with windows to match the originals, or to introduce a change of style.

Wooden windows for listed properties

Working in beautiful East Sussex means that we have plenty of experience dealing with listed properties, and we understand the requirements and challenges of these important buildings.

We’ll assess your current windows carefully and provide you with information on the proposed replacements to assist with your planning permission request.

New build wooden windows

Whether you’re looking for wooden windows for your barn conversion, extension or new build property, we will work closely with you, your architect and your builders.

This ensures that we not only craft the perfect windows for your property’s style and needs, but also helps to streamline the installation process with the rest of your building work, so you have the minimum hassle.

Our windows are PAS 24:2016 certified, meaning that they exceed the latest specifications required for windows in new build properties.
